Shimon studied education, theater and philosophy, art and a little economics. He is interested in creativity and promotes it through toys.
To lose 'creativity' is to destroy a person's ability to live their life. Shimon cites the research of psychologist 'George Land'.
In 1968, he examined the creativity of 5-year-old children - 95% had the potential for creativity. 5 years later, he examined the same children and discovered that their potential for creativity had dropped to 30%.
When he repeated his study in 1975 with the same children, he discovered that only 12% of them were creative. At the end of the study - when they were already 20 years old, only 2% of them had any creative potential left.
Shimon's ambition is to increase the awareness of creativity with the help of toys by even one more percent.
