Accessibility Statement

The site aims to meet Israeli Standard (IS) 5568 — 'Web Content Accessibility' — at level AA, which adopts the international WCAG guidelines. In practice we test against WCAG 2.2 level AA, in both Hebrew and English.

• Full keyboard navigation, including a skip-to-content link on every page and a visible focus indicator.
• Screen-reader compatibility (tested with NVDA and VoiceOver): a proper heading structure, alternative text on images, and labels on all form fields.
• Colour contrast meeting at least level AA in every theme, never relying on colour alone to convey information.
• The operating system's 'reduce motion' setting is respected — decorative animation is all but disabled.
• The site stays usable at 200% zoom and on narrow screens, with no horizontal scrolling.
• Fully bilingual (Hebrew and English) with correct text direction (RTL/LTR) on every page.

Zoom with your browser (Ctrl and +), switch between light and dark themes from the site menu, change language on any page, and turn on 'reduce motion' in your operating system settings — the site will honour it.

A few components — for example the interactive world map and the browser games — may not yet be fully accessible, and descriptions of some older photographs are still being completed. If you hit something that does not work for you, contact us and we will provide the information another way.
