An Israeli artist who lives and breathes art 24 hours a day. Designer and creator of glass, ceramics, Judaica, sacred objects, synagogues, ceramic tiles, and more. Born in Poland, served in the army, holds a BA in economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Studied art at the Art School, Ramat Hasharon.
The monument at the Beit Lid intersection was designed and executed by Sarah Konforti in memory of 21 soldiers and a civilian who were killed in the double suicide bombing that occurred there on January 22, 1995. The monument is placed on 1.5 dunams and consists of a 30-meter-high ladder pointing to the sky and on which are 22 figures of soldiers.
