Artist and creator Miran Shavit from Kibbutz Lohamei Hagetaot is married to Meir and has two charming sons (Manor and Morag). By training, he is a documentary (video) editor. Originally, he collected coins and researched their origin. Today, he enjoys making jewelry and spinnerets from them, which he loved since childhood. The spinnerets were born by chance while making a pendant with a hole in the center. Miran makes spinnerets from a single coin and even coins with different combinations.
