While in Guatemala, she sought a spinning top in various shops and specifically requested a 'perinola.' Her search led her to find the first spinning top depicted in the collection in the city of Antigua. This spinning top embodies the Latin American tradition prevalent in Guatemala and Mexico, crafted from wood. The perinola reflects local culture and the significance of traditional toys in the daily lives of the inhabitants.
