The company started in 1990 in Hungary, a small shop selling wooden toys under the name "Toy Tokio" - by two private entrepreneurs. It distributed small wooden toys in Hungary and Romania, in 1991 the company expanded its product range when individual entrepreneurs created a joint venture, and the company name was changed to Fakopáncs '92 Kft. Today the company is engaged in the production and import of wooden toys and distribution.
