Avigdor Bezalel was born in Jerusalem in Bikur Holim. Following the Six-Day War and the unification of the city in 1967, this historical event was immortalized by Avigdor in his workshop with objects of love and Judaica. He studied accounting and joined his brother Aharon as an artist. His wife Tami is a painter and illustrator born in Jerusalem, also born in Jerusalem. His works are characterized by olive wood spinning tops, wood engraving and spinning top painting.
